Haven - The Road

Hmm, a most interesting little release that seems to have slipped out with next to no publicity at all (at least for the time being). Haven are a three piece melodic rock / AOR outfit from California led by the drop dead gorgeous Pamme, and what's more guys, she's got the voice of an Angel to match the body of a Goddess. With quite a string of big name guest appearances (including the likes of Robin McAuley, Matt Sorum and Jimmy Hotz), and some consistently strong material, this will no doubt attract the attention of some of the bigger independents at some point (rumours are of a Frontiers deal in the pipeline). Stylewise, this evokes memories of bands such as Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Private Life and Saraya, itís classy combination of emotion filled ballads and harder edger rockers holding out plenty of appeal for the dedicated AOR crowd out there.
