"The latest female fronted melodic rock sensation"! That angelic, yet tough, voice you hear in your head finally has a name. Her name is Pamme. The music she plays is the one thing you can't escape from. She's searching just like you. "Skillfully crafted songs" ranging from Power Rock Ballads to up tempo Hard Rock, with Sultry Acoustic and Piano Ballads mixed in. Killer vocal / guitar melodies and inspiring lyrics. Special guest players on the band's debut album: "The Road" include Matt Sorum on drums, (Guns n' Roses and The Cult), Robin McAuley, background vocals (MSG) and Jimmy Hotz (worked with Yes, Fleetwood Mac, Dave Mason, Gary Wright, and others). The band has many musical influences which have melded together to give Haven their own distinctive sound. Haven explores and provides a solid offering of life giving lyrics and introspection, woven amidst a melodic storm of high powered vocals and guitar work. Haven write songs from the heart, based not upon calculated efforts to clone the latest trend, but to use music as a vehicle to uplift, heal and entertain… never forgetting the reason why they started making music in the first place ! The band has many diverse musical influences- Pamme, the Lead Vocalist and Lyricist, was inspired by Kansas, Heart, Deep Purple, and Journey. She was influenced by these bands because of Steve Walsh, Ann Wilson, David Coverdale, and Steve Perry: four great singers and performers. Michael Brody, the Bass and Keyboard player, was inspired by Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Kiss, Rush, Sting and various Pop bands. John Vanselow, the guitar player, was inspired by UFO (Michael Schenker), Black Sabbath, Rush, Deep Purple, Robin Trower, The Beatles and classical music. Mix all that together and you have a pretty wide influence of musical styles which all add up to... Haven! The band has also recorded a track for the forthcoming Jason Becker tribute album, with Robin McAuley and Johnny Lima contributing to the special recording also. Haven are already working on the follow up to "The Road" and plan to begin recording before the end of the year.
